"WOW!" That's all you can say when you hear the power, passion, and emotion that exudes from watching Deidre perform. Her stage presence entertains her audience as much as her vocals. Her tonal quality is that of a much more seasoned performer. This natural born beauty, with long ravishing red hair, spends most of her time in Dallas, but for the last year she has been traveling periodically to Nashville to hone her songwriting skills. Growing up, Deidre has performed at opry's all around Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. She still performs on a regular basis at the Grapevine Opry, and Six Flags over Texas, in the Country Music Revue at the Southern Palace Theater. Two years in a row she participated in the nationwide talent contest, known as the Colgate Country Showdown. She won the state level and continued on to the regional finals. Opening for The Josh Abbott Band and Wade Bowen at the State Fair of Texas was definitely one of the highlights of her year. Presently, Deidre is in the process of recording her first CD with all original songs, most having been written or co-written by her. She feels extremely blessed to have been given the opportunity to have gained both knowledge and experience of the business and songwriting through her contact with Ron Grimes, multi platinum songwriter to Leann Rimes, and also the benefit of working with Tim and Angela Lauer, Scott Sean White, and Jeff Jacobs, keyboardist for Billy Joel and Foreigner. The CD will be a mix of both contemporary and traditional country music. Deidre is so much more than just a great performer, she is a great person. She knows who she is and where she is going with a strong sense of faith and integrity. Deidre is an artist you would definitely want to take notice of. Her enthusiasm and charisma is evident, both on stage and off. Her desire to succeed in a business that, at best is a roller coaster, does not impede her determination. Her maturity and professionalism is something to be admired at such a young age, and she is a true contemporary role model. All of this put together, she really is "unforgettable".
