"Good Girl" Release Countdown June 2012 In case you haven't been informed, Deidre's 4 song EP will be released in June 2012! There will be a release party for her first single "Good Girl" that she has been working on for the past year. The location is undetermined at the moment. “When people used to ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was, a singer; a singer in country music. I want to fill stadiums with thousands of people and inspire people through my music like others have inspired me. Now that I am older, my answer is still the same…” Whether it’s a high energy southern rock song or a heart wrenching ballad, Deidre Thornell delivers something to everyone. Her odyssey began at the annual elementary school talent show, and continued, to make repeating appearances at opry’s throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Rising to the next level, she entered the Colgate Country Showdown, a national contest, and at 17, won the local and state competition in Texas, and was runner-up at the regional show. She worked at Six Flags Over Texas as a performer, being designated the lead vocal, for the entertaining “Country is My Rock” show. She has opened for great talents such as Wade Bowen and Josh Abbott Band. Throughout the years, she has been asked to sing the National Anthem at multiple venues, but singing in front of 80,000 people at Cowboy Stadium for a Dallas Cowboy Game against San Diego was an opportunity she won’t forget. Currently she is putting together her first EP with 4 original songs-one of which will be release in June 2012, entitled "Good Girl." Look for her new and upcoming merchandise available soon!
